My Nitecore SRT7 tac-light was the perfect complement to a few crystals I’ve been wanting to photograph. The idea came from the sheer power the 960 lumens put out. I wanted to see just how the multicolored beams would bounce off the crystals, and what effects it could produce?

By using my Macro 100mm/2.8 (a great lens, by the way), I was able to capture some light-bending shots. This shoot turned out to be all I expected and I’m thrilled with the results. I’ll post some more crystal shots in the near future.

Nitecore has some pretty cool products unrelated to photography. You can check them out here.
