I honestly can’t think of a good reason for not posting in 2017, because there really isn’t one. So, I’m sorry. Deadly sorry.

After spending a long afternoon at Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, it was clear that this special place not only had an interesting history…it was one of those hidden gems we had missed out on for far too long.

Whether it’s quality time or quiet time, a little “QT” usually goes a long way. And that’s exactly what we got at John D. MacArthur Beach State Park. An awesome boardwalk, quiet beach access, a kayak launch, and some really interesting plant life all made our time at the park that much more enjoyable.

Manatee Lagoon recently had its grand opening, so, despite the chill in the air, we decided to head over and check out the newly constructed Manatee Eco-Discovery Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
